In June of 2002, while reviewing documents of the Senate Select Committee on POW/MIAs, at the National Archives, we located the exact same document. Based on a Mandatory Declassification Request, filed with the Archives some 40,000 pages, of documents in the collection of the Senate Select Committee on POW/MIAs, were sent to the Central Intelligence Agency for review.
After review and redactions the CIA returned the material to the Archives for release. Among the 40,000 pages was the memo and chronological listing you are about to view. However, the documents had been reclassified.
