2009 Congressional Hearings
On April 2nd 2009, the House Military Personnel Subcommittee met to hear testimony on "Improving Recovery and Full Accounting of POW/MIA Personnel From All Past Conflicts."
Testifying before the committee were were representatives from the American Legion, Veterans of Foreign War, the 5 POW/MIA family groups, and a civilian volunteer working on remains identification from the Korean War. Also testifying were the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for POW/MIA Affairs Charles Ray and Rear Admiral Donna Crisp Commander JPAC.
